Broken Paddle Outfitters offers non-motorized boat rentals at Memorial Park in Hendersonville, TN. Prices are by the hour or half day and reservations can be made through the calendar below. Advanced reservations are encouraged but walk-up/same-day rentals are offered when available.
You can find us in the boathouse (under construction) in the southern corner of the park.

Select your day and how long you want to rent for below.
- From there you can add everything you need for your group’s trip including different boat types, child life vests (no extra cost), and much more.
- After booking, you will receive an email with a link to our liability waiver, which everyone needs to fill out prior to arrival.
- If you don’t see a boat type for the day and time you’ve selected, it is sold out.
- TEXT or just WALK UP TO THE BOATHOUSE for availability of SAME DAY reservations (online reservations can only be made 18 hours in advance)

FAQ's
- You must be 18yrs old or older to rent.
- Payment in full for all rentals is due at the time of reservation.
- Broken Paddle Outfitters, LLC reserves the right to refuse to any individual(s).
We offer 1 hour and half day rentals. If you would like to reserve a boat for a full day, simply book two half days.

You can rent a boat for an hour as late as 4pm. Half day rentals stop at 1pm. All boats must be returned to the dock by 5pm.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled reservation: full refund
- Cancellations due to lighting, hard rain, or other unforeseen conditions: Rain check or refund.
- All refunds will incur the credit card fees associated with the original booking.
Our dock is a private launch for rental customers only at this time.
Damage will be assessed on a case by case basis and the booking party’s card will be charged accordingly. It is very difficult to damage a boat on this lake unintentionally, but we have seen some weird stuff.
Absolutely! Drakes Creek has very little current and is basically flatwater paddling. It is a perfect place for beginners to get comfortable in a boat or on a paddle board.
We are open seasonally (weather depending) from April to October. In between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there will be someone at the boathouse 7 days a week 9am-5pm. Outside those dates we are generally open on weekends but call for hours, as it is dependent on middle TN weather patterns.
Absolutely. We encourage prebooking, (especially during the busy months) but walkups are a possibility based on availability.
